CMMG runs its creative in-house and brings us in for the work that has to happen on a range. The DISSENT was that kind of job: the entire product argument is a part that isn’t there, and a missing buffer tube is invisible in a studio frame. That changes the brief entirely. Catalog photography describes an object. This had to describe how the rifle moves, which meant real shooters, live fire, and the positions a buffer tube makes awkward — on a launch calendar that was set before we were called.
