After Action is a commercial photo and film studio based in Savannah, Georgia, working exclusively in the firearms, tactical, and outdoor industry.
Everyone here competes. We run matches, we carry the platforms and products we build content around, and we buy most of the gear with our own money. When we shoot a product, we already know how it handles.
What we don't do is claim expertise we haven't earned. Tactical application is a separate discipline, so we staff for it — current and former law enforcement, military, and SOF personnel, brought in as talent and as technical advisors rather than models who look the part.
The difference is visible. A model doesn't know where his feet go crossing a threshold, or what his job is as number three in a stack. Your customers do. They catch it in half a second, and the credibility they lose isn't ours — it's yours.
Most recently, Michael spent a year in-house at Daniel Defense as Brand Content Specialist — on the marketing team, shooting to a manufacturer's own standards, deadlines, and review process. That's the part most studios can't offer. We know what your team is accountable for, because we just spent a year being it.
The studio is back to full-time commercial work and booking now.
